Before download, read the easy instructions:
1. Download Bitdefender 2008 Total Security/Antivirus (Dont Install It Yet)
2. Go to C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc and right-click the Hosts file > Select Properties
3. Untick read-only and apply.
4. Now open the hosts file with notepad. (Start->Run->notepad) ADD: 127.0.0.1 update.bitdefender.com


Check whether youve done it right or wrong until the 4th step:
Then save and close host file.
5. Ok, now install Bitdefender
