Mac OS X Compatibility

All Alien Skin plug-ins now work in OS X Tiger. patches are available to fix all known incompatibilities. To find out if you need to update your software, go to our patches page.

Exposure shipped 100% compatible. No patches or updates are required to work in OS X 10.4 Tiger.

Eye Candy 5: impact shipped 100% compatible. No patches or updates are required to work in OS X 10.4 Tiger.

Eye Candy 5: nature has been updated and is now 100% compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. See the patches page for details.

Eye Candy 5: textures has been updated and is now 100% compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. See the patches page for details.

Eye Candy 4000 has been updated and is now 100% compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. See the patches page for details.

 xenofex 2 has been updated and is now 100% compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. See the patches page for details.

Image doctor has been updated and is now 100% compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. See the patches page for details.

Splat! has been updated and is now 100% compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. See the patches page for details.

Eye Candy for After effects users will need the latest version to work under OS X. Email support@alienskin.com with your name and Eye Candy for After Effects registration code to get the latest installer.

Xenofex 1.0 is no longer supported and is not compatible with OS X. In order to work in OS X, you will need to upgrade to Xenofex 2.
